If I can receive a picture mail, does that mean I have internet? And therefore, can I use the Instant Messenger services provided with the phone? My dad recently turned off texting, but I’m not sure if he turned off the internet, so I don’t know if I’ll be charged for it. I can’t really ask him cause he might turn the internet off too.

have you tried going online and looking at your plan?
if you can recieve picture mail, which anyone can as long as its not blocked, and you hit recieve it connects to the internet, so yeah you can connect to the IM services. it charged me a little over $300 more for like 5 pictures recieved and like 2 sent out.
you should ask him though. because if you dont and you assume you have it and you really dont, its going to run the bill up sooooo high for internet.
